AGU Fall Meeting, 2018 Washington, DC, USA, during December 10-14, 2018
"AGU (American Geophysical Union) Fall meeting has always been an overwhelming rush of presentations, conversations, and potential meet-ups with a significant focus on the recent innovations, visions, and advances among various researchers and scientists on a global scale. I was selected to present my research in AGU Fall meeting 2018, held at Washington, DC, from 10th to 14th December. Attending various technical sessions, short talks, panel discussions, and ‘eLightning’ sessions provided great exposure to ongoing research all over the world. The social aspect of the Fall meeting was just as significant as its scientific content, which made the experience both enjoyable and professionally satisfying. I was privileged to get feedback, technical suggestions, and valuable insights about my research or follow-up studies to strengthen my future work.
Overall, it was a professionally rewarding experience for me to connect with the greater scientific community working in my research field. I would like to thank DORA, IIT Roorkee, for providing financial support for this conference, which enabled me to bear the major expenses of this trip. Thanks for the help."
